The BIRAX Regenerative Medicine Initiative (RMI) launched in 2015 and has committed nearly £8 million to 19 collaborative research projects directly involving over a hundred researchers in the UK and Israel. The researchers use cutting-edge technology and pioneering techniques in stem cell and regenerative medicine therapies to tackle cardiovascular and liver disease, diabetes, Parkinson’s, and more.
