The British Council is delighted to present a special homage to the cinematic genius Alfred Hitchcock with films accompanied by live music by top Israeli musicians as Eran Tzur, Daniel Salomon, Karni Postel and more.
The Hitchcock 9 is the largest restoration project ever undertaken by the British Film Institute, in which 9 of Hitchcock’s first silent films were digitally restored. The films will be screened in the cinematheques of Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa, with live accompaniement performed by local musicians.
