If you’re involved or work in research into assessment, then our Assessment Research Awards and Grants might interest you. These awards recognise achievement and innovation in the field of language assessment and support our research activities across the world.
The awards and grants are aimed at both research students and more experienced researchers in the area of assessment.
We have four categories you can apply for:
- Assessment Research Grants – designed to promote research in the area of language assessment which will have a significant impact on assessment practice in the future.
- Assessment Research Awards – designed to help support the work of students researching in the area of assessment.
- International Assessment Award – will be awarded to an individual working for the promotion of excellence in language assessment on the international stage.
- Innovation in Assessment Prize – will be awarded to individual or institution who contribute significant innovative ideas to the development, delivery or validation of language.
Proposals will be reviewed both by international experts in assessment and/or applied linguistics and by members of the British Council Assessment Research Group.
