Professional Development for Researchers 

The British Council is inviting 30 early-career researchers from Israel to participate in our Researcher Connect communication skills workshop, taking place every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 to 26 February 2025.

Strong communication skills are essential for researchers to succeed in publishing innovative work, securing funding, and expanding their international networks. 

Through our online, interactive sessions, participants will benefit from: 

  • Expert Trainers: Learn from trainers with extensive experience in higher education, research presentation, and publication. 
  • Practical Applications: Engage in activities tailored to your research field, allowing you to apply new skills immediately. 
  • Take-Home Resources: Access comprehensive materials for each module, including course theory, learning content, and activities. 

These workshops aim to enhance individual researcher productivity, thereby offering universities and research institutions a competitive edge in the dynamic international research landscape. 

Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the training. 

Who Can Join? 

We are seeking 30 early-career researchers from Israel who meet the following criteria: 

  • Proficient in English (B2 level or higher). 
  • Be a practising researcher in any field related to clean growth, at the beginning of their researcher career 
  • Able to commit to the full training schedule. 
  • confirm that their research organisation or university is permitting their attendance 
  • Agree to deliver one measurable outcome from the training, such as publishing research, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions, or increasing research collaborations and connections, this will be agreed upon with participants.  

Programme Dates and Schedule:

  • 4–5 February
  • 11–12 February
  • 18–19 February
  • 25–26 February 

Sessions Timing: 09:00–12:00 (IST). 

Participants must commit to attending the full programme across all scheduled days.
